Taking forward its Real People, Real Experiences communication strategy, Ford has come up with a new campaign to let people experience a drive in its Classic Titanium.

The ‘One Tank. 1500 Kms. One Classic Story’ campaign has 11 individuals in eight Classic Titanium cars capturing their 1500-km journey on video. The campaign kick off today from Delhi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai.

Each team has been given a Ford Classic Titanium series with one tank full of fuel. These individuals, according to an official release, have been chosen from various walks of life, and have been paired with a cinematographer on their drive, who will capture their dream journey on video.

“Ford Classic truly stands for the self-driven. With its class leading fuel economy, smart features and intuitive design, it is a brand that personifies individuals who have a passion and the conviction to realise them,” says Anurag Mehrotra, Vice President, Marketing, Ford India.

The cinematographer with the most engaging ‘Classic’ story will win a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000.

Ford Classic claims to have sold 1.25 lakh cars in India.

In the past too, Ford has had campaigns like ‘Swap Your Drive’ where real life experiences of individuals were shot on camera and later featured into TVCs.

With the latest campaign, Ford hopes to capture experiences not only in the country side but get on reel experiences during the festival season, with Krishna Janamashtmi, Independence Day and Eid coming up.
