CoinDCX, India’s largest crypto exchange, has rolled out a nationwide campaign aimed at building confidence among first-time crypto investors. The initiative focuses on investor education and myth-busting, addressing questions around legality, fundamentals, and portfolio integration, while reinforcing principles familiar from traditional finance: discipline, patience, and long-term thinking.
The campaign targets new investors, drawing on the insight that investment decisions in Indian households are often influenced by fathers. Prashant Verma, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer at CoinDCX, said, “We often look up to our fathers for guidance on new investment decisions. Fathers typically do their research before making recommendations, and that sense of diligence is what we wanted to bring into conversations around crypto. While crypto may still be seen as a new asset class, the way you approach it should feel familiar – grounded in fundamentals, discipline, and long-term thinking, just like traditional finance. Through a relatable father-son narrative, our films simplify crypto concepts and show that clarity and confidence come from logic, not hype.”
The campaign features National Award-winning actor Darshan Jariwala, who helps bust common crypto myths. Prashant added, “Widely recognised and trusted by Indian audiences, Jariwala lends credibility and relatability to the campaign, helping demystify crypto investing and make conversations around it more accessible to everyday Indians.”
CoinDCX emphasizes that traditional investment strategies also work with crypto. Features like crypto SIPs allow investors to regularly invest fixed amounts, helping manage market volatility. Long-term holding, or HODLing, allows crypto to become a stable part of a portfolio, and combining crypto with other assets supports diversification.
The campaign is being rolled out across television and digital platforms nationwide, with multiple creative formats maintaining a consistent, human-first narrative. On-ground investor education bootcamps in key cities will provide guided, in-person sessions on crypto basics. A dedicated learning week will feature curated content, expert-led sessions, and simplified learning modules on CoinDCX’s platforms. Targeted social media campaigns will address common crypto myths and encourage informed discussions. Together, these initiatives aim to reach over 2 crore Indians.
The campaign reinforces CoinDCX’s positioning as India’s Crypto Coach, focusing on learning first, understanding assets, assessing risks, and investing at one’s own pace. The goal is not just adoption, but informed adoption.
