Discovery Global has named Adrienne O’Hara as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications and Public Affairs Officer, effective January 7, 2026.

In her new role, O’Hara will report to Gunnar Wiedenfels, President and CEO of Discovery Global, and oversee all global communications and public affairs for the company. She will lead corporate, financial, employee, executive, brand and crisis communications, along with public affairs and stakeholder engagement, at a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution.

O’Hara brings more than 20 years of experience shaping communications strategies for Fortune 500 companies during periods of significant transformation, with a focus on driving enterprise value and growth.

“Adrienne is a proven leader with deep experience guiding iconic branded portfolios through transformation and change,” said Wiedenfels. “Her ability to translate strategy into clear, compelling narratives will be critical as we engage investors, employees, partners and other stakeholders, and build continued belief in Discovery Global’s potential as a standalone company.”
