Poorva Bhatikar has been promoted to Industry Head – Auto at Google India. She announced her new role through a LinkedIn post.
Before this elevation, Bhatikar served as Industry Manager at the company and has been with Google India for six years.
"Taking a moment to share that I'm stepping into a new role as Industry Head for Auto at Google India. The vehicle purchase journey is changing quickly, powered by AI, and I’m excited to collaborate with some of our leading auto clients to bring them the best of Google in 2026," the LinkedIn post stated.
Earlier in her career, Poorva Bhatikar worked at Disney+ Hotstar, where she focused on acquiring and retaining a niche yet premium audience segment in the US, UK, and Canada, while also contributing to expansion plans in new markets.
Prior to that, she held roles at Mattel Toys India and Reliance Broadband Network, among others.
