NDTV’s Q3 FY26 revenue rises 23% quarter-on-quarter

NDTV has posted a broader consolidated loss in the third quarter of FY26 even as income showed healthy growth, with operating costs rising more sharply than revenues.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, consolidated revenue from operations came in at Rs 150.4 crore, registering a 23.0 percent quarter-on-quarter rise from Rs 122.3 crore in Q2 FY26. On a year-on-year basis, revenue was higher by 13.3 percent compared with Rs 132.7 crore in Q3 FY25.

Total consolidated income for the quarter climbed 21.8 percent QoQ to Rs 152.2 crore, up from Rs 125.0 crore in the previous quarter. Compared to the same quarter last year, total income grew 13.5 percent from Rs 134.2 crore in Q3 FY25.

Overall expenses increased to Rs 227.0 crore in Q3 FY26, marking a 14.7 percent sequential jump from Rs 197.9 crore in Q2 FY26 and a 20.9 percent rise over Rs 187.7 crore in the year-ago quarter, led by higher spending on programming, employees, and other operating costs.

Consequently, loss before tax widened to Rs 80.1 crore in Q3 FY26, versus a loss of Rs 72.7 crore in the preceding quarter, reflecting a 10.2 percent QoQ increase. On a year-on-year basis, the loss before tax expanded 48.7 percent from Rs 53.9 crore in Q3 FY25.

Net loss after tax stood at Rs 80.3 crore for the quarter, compared with Rs 74.0 crore in Q2 FY26, indicating an 8.4 percent sequential increase. The loss also rose 44.7 percent year-on-year from Rs 55.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Nine-month performance

For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, NDTV recorded consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 380.3 crore, up 12.5 percent year-on-year.

Total income during the nine-month period grew 13.3 percent YoY to Rs 389.8 crore.

The company reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 224.6 crore for the nine-month period, widening 44.0 percent compared with the same period last year, as costs continued to remain high.
