Nielsen’s Gracenote has named Bill Condon as its inaugural Head of Advertising Sales.
In this position, Condon will be responsible for driving revenue growth across Gracenote’s advertising portfolio, with particular emphasis on accelerating adoption of its Content Connect CTV advertising platform.
Condon brings more than 20 years of experience in digital advertising, spanning both the buy and sell sides of the ad tech ecosystem. Prior to joining Gracenote, he was Vice President of Enterprise Sales and Partnerships at Xumo. His professional journey also includes senior leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, Tremor Video, Yahoo, AOL and PointRoll.
“This newly created role underscores the strong momentum behind Gracenote’s advertising business—from the launch of contextual targeting in 2024 and the rollout of Content Connect to deeper reporting enabled through partner integrations,” said Ryan Moore, Chief Business Officer at Gracenote. “Bill’s track record in building and monetising CTV and FAST platforms positions him well to lead Content Connect’s commercial expansion as content intelligence becomes increasingly critical in CTV advertising.”
“CTV advertising is at a pivotal stage where scale and signal quality need to evolve in tandem,” said Condon. “On both the buying and selling sides, there is rising demand to align content-level signals with audience-based strategies, yet transparency into the programming where ads appear has lagged behind. I’m excited to join Gracenote to bring context into CTV transactions and make it actionable at the show level.”
