Havells trims ad spends 13% YoY to Rs 155 crore in Q3 FY26

Havells India’s advertising and sales promotion spend in Q3 FY26 stood at Rs 155 crore, up 17.6% sequentially from Rs 131.78 crore in Q2 FY26, but down 13.2% year-on-year from Rs 178.61 crore in Q3 FY25, according to its unaudited consolidated financial results.
Revenue from operations rose 16.9% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 5,587.89 crore from Rs 4,779.33 crore in Q2 FY26, while on a year-on-year basis, it increased 14.3% from Rs 4,888.98 crore in Q3 FY25. Total income for the quarter was Rs 5,630.59 crore, up from Rs 4,865.59 crore in Q2 FY26 and Rs 4,953.31 crore a year earlier.
Profit after tax came in at Rs 300.05 crore, down 5.7% sequentially from Rs 318.28 crore in the preceding quarter, but up 8.0% compared with Rs 277.96 crore in Q3 FY25. Profit before tax fell slightly on a sequential basis to Rs 407.62 crore from Rs 414.59 crore in Q2 FY26, yet remained higher than Rs 377.34 crore reported in the year-ago quarter.
Total expenses increased to Rs 5,189.33 crore in Q3 FY26, from Rs 4,455.82 crore in Q2 FY26 and Rs 4,575.97 crore in Q3 FY25. Raw material and component costs rose to Rs 3,098.37 crore, up from Rs 2,686.72 crore in the previous quarter and Rs 2,957.53 crore a year earlier.
