Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Private Limited (JioBlackRock Investment Advisers), a 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL) and BlackRock Inc., has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Madhurita Sengupta as Chief Marketing Officer.
In her role, Sengupta will drive the firm’s brand strategy, customer engagement and digital marketing initiatives as JioBlackRock works to set a new benchmark for investor-centric wealth and advisory platforms in India.
With close to two decades of experience spanning marketing, digital sales and customer experience, she brings a strong blend of technology-led growth thinking and financial services expertise. Sengupta has played a key role in helping large organisations build trust, relevance and long-term customer engagement in an increasingly digital economy.
Her career includes senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, DBS Bank, Vodafone India and HSBC, where she led high-impact initiatives across brand building, customer journeys and data-driven marketing. Her work has consistently focused on moving beyond transactional marketing to create meaningful, contextual and personalised customer experiences.
At JioBlackRock Investment Advisers, Sengupta will focus on building a distinctive, purpose-led brand aligned with the firm’s ambition to make high-quality investment advice more accessible, transparent and intuitive for Indian investors. She holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. Outside work, she is an avid explorer of new cultures, a technology enthusiast and a keen admirer of Hindustani classical music.
