Godrej Consumer Products Ltd trimmed advertising and publicity spends by 6.3% year-on-year in Q3 FY26, even as consolidated revenue from operations grew in high single digits.

Ad and publicity expenditure for the December quarter stood at Rs 341.37 crore, down from Rs 364.37 crore in Q3 FY25 and 9.1% lower sequentially from Rs 375.74 crore in Q2 FY26.

The FMCG major reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 4,099.12 crore for the quarter ended 31 December 2025, up 8.8% YoY from Rs 3,768.43 crore, and 7.1% sequentially from Rs 3,825.09 crore in Q2 FY26. Total income rose to Rs 4,155.01 crore from Rs 3,851.53 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Total expenses increased 6.3% YoY to Rs 3,364.03 crore, including raw material costs of Rs 1,396.90 crore, employee benefits of Rs 328.09 crore, and other expenses of Rs 617.41 crore, with ad spends forming a significant portion.

Profit before exceptional items and tax fell 12.8% YoY to Rs 790.98 crore from Rs 907.24 crore. After exceptional items of Rs 91 crore, PBT stood at Rs 699.98 crore, down 18.1% YoY. Net profit was Rs 497.91 crore, largely flat compared with Rs 498.31 crore in Q3 FY25, and slightly higher than Rs 459.34 crore in Q2 FY26.

For the nine months ended 31 December 2025, ad and publicity spends totaled Rs 1,030.94 crore, down 2.7% YoY, while revenue from operations rose 7.6% YoY to Rs 11,586.07 crore.
