Netflix surpassed Wall Street expectations for revenue and earnings in its holiday quarter on Tuesday, though its shares dropped more than 4% in after-hours trading.
The results came shortly after the company revised its $82.7 billion merger agreement with Warner Bros.

Co-CEO Ted Sarandos noted that Netflix plans to invest in expanding its live events offerings.
